The child care project of SAEM addresses the needs of orphans, semi-orphans, HIV/AIDS affected, physically challenged and children from under the poverty line. India has the second largest population of 1.1 billion people. Nearly half are children under the age of 14 and there are about 44 million destitute children and over 12 million orphan and abandoned children. By involving in the development of the children, we look at the total transformation of the community they belong to!

Periyamallipatti Village Child Care Centre
Priyamallipatti village in Dharmapuri, India is one of the most backward villages in state of Tamilnadu. Through our child care program we are directly impacting about 45 children in the village through medical care, nutrition distribution, clothe and free tuition. This is also an opportunity to share the gospel to the children. Through this we address issues of child labors, and school drop outs. Most of these children’s parents have never gone to school so they are the first generation to have any kind of education. Our supports to these children are occasional due to financial limitations of the organization.
